I honestly was shocked to find out there was a waterfall in Columbus, Ohio! I decided to go on an adventure to find this waterfall. This trip was a little special because I got to test drive the 2022 Hyundai Venue. It’s an urban compact SUV that is great for road trips.

Getting there was a breeze! The 8-inch color touchscreen display and wireless Apple CarPlay allowed me to easily use navigation and play my favorite playlists.

I must say I was very impressed with how smooth the drive was in the Hyundai Venue.  I was even more impressed by its fuel efficiency. It gets up to  33 MPG Hwy. The car also has advanced safety features such as Driver Attention Warning, Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist and Lane Keeping Assist.

A hidden gem, the waterfall is located at Hayden Run Falls Park. It’s nestled between a busy road and suburbia in the Dublin area.

You have to be careful because the parking lot to get there is quite tiny and you’ll miss it if you don’t look for it. There are some steep stairs that lead you down a wooden trail surrounded by beautiful trees.

A short walk will lead you to it. Don’t worry! You can’t get lost, there’s only one way in and out. I stood there for a while just taking in the beauty and therapeutic sounds of the waterfall.

I snapped some photos and made way for other spectators. It’s a small platform, so try to go during the week when it won’t be crowded.

Overall, I was very happy with the 2022 Hyundai Venue.  I particularly like the two-tone roof exterior and trim on the interior. 

It is also a lot more spacious than it looks from the outside. My tall friend stated how comfortable he was riding in the back seat. It was hard giving up the keys because I want to take this car on more road trips!
